Unique One-Day Workshops to empower the Iranian-American High School students
Communication, Speech, Debate, Conflict Resolution, Detecting and Combating Discrimination is All its Forms, Transformational Leadership skills, Leadership Character Devlopement, Accepting Responsibility, Power of Servic to the Community, Internship, Meeting with Elected Representatives, Steps for Running for an Office, and Writing letters to the Editor or Op Ed, Giving back to the Community, and Preserving Iranian Culture and Heritage are just a few skills the students learn in a fun and practical one-day leadership workshops.
Since 2009, Workshops for Modules 1-4 have already been conducted. Students benefit from a one day practical workshop and many have already started
utilizing the skills they have learned. Students volunteer for charity, obtain internships, join debate teams, and run for student government officer positions in their high schools. |
